I Left Tucson, Arizona for A New Life

August 13, 2016

It’s been a while since I last posted! SO much has went on since that time. I left Tucson for good, quit my job, and took a road trip back home with my dog. I stopped in Phoenix and Los Angeles then continued on to my hometown in Sacramento. Currently, I’m in Houston visiting my sister before I ship out to my China adventure in two weeks.

I shipped off my visa application on Wednesday to the San Francisco office. It got there yesterday. I just called and my visa application was submitted today and should be back to me by the 18th. I’m so excited to teach in my field!

Without a plan, Elyse Y. Robinson moved to México City after her mother passed away from blood cancer on November 11, 2016. She never heard of México City nor even visited México before. She just knew she had to escape America to mourn. She had quit her whole life to help her family anyway. She had nothing more to lose. She is going into her fourth year in México and she is there to stay!
